Monthly Wrap-up is a feature where I show you all that I reviewed and read.
I'll also tell you little tidbits of my life while I'm at it ;)
So this is my first time doing a monthly wrap-up. If there's anything you'd like me to add, please email me about it!

what i did this month
I decided that, instead of A Day in My Life posts, I'm just going to write it monthly in my monthly wrap-ups. School starts for me in September so right now I'm trying to be as lazy as possible! In denial over here! No school please! For those of you who didn't know, I took a two-month vacation to Asia. I'm flying back to Canada just two days before starts. Let me tell you why that is bad: I will be killed by jet lag with school going on and everything. I'm thinking about taking a break from the blog and I think I'll come back when my chaotic life settles down. Not sure yet, but I might take a break.
Also, I went to a bookstore here! I don't have the patience to read books in Mandarin so I always hit up the english section. I FOUND PRETTY BOOKS.. LOOK AT THIS.. (sorry for bad quality; taken on my iPod)
These are hardcover classics! LOOK AT IT THEY ARE SO PRETTY.. Here let me post some picture of them that I found from the web:

Just look at their extreme prettyness. They're also $25 for one, I think. But the collection value! I am so tempted to buy several of these but sadly I'm broke :P
At the bookstore, I also saw some Mandarin translations of YA novels. I just like seeing their covers, honestly. Here are some pictures (they're all really bad quality, sorry):
Delirium by Lauren Oliver & Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
Both of these are so cute and pretty! AatFK looks so pretty :D
The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky & Revenge of the Witch by Joseph Delaney
What's Left of Me by Kat Zhang & The Evolution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
These covers are the same basically :/
Splintered by A. G. Howard
I'm quite surprised to see this one translated because it just got published in January. That's quick..
Giveaway Winner
There was a giveaway for my blogoversary which ended today! The winner is Romi Foster! Congratulations! I have already emailed the winner and if she doesn't reply within 48 hours, I will choose another one.
That's the end of my August wrap-up! Comment down below on your thoughts :) xx
OMG YOUR MONTH. LOOK ALL EM PWETTY BOOKS. (◕△◕✿) And YES those classic with cloth bounding. I have seen them and I'm out to get them. I want all my classics with that cloth bounding cover thingie with the mega awesome pictures you showed. They are too beautiful for my eyes. Too beautiful! ( /)w(\✿) I really love Anna and the French Kiss cover! It gives a very frenchy feel to it. XD The guy looks very French looking in my eyes. ;D Gosh don't sweat about school, Ariella! If it gets too busy to blog then don't sweat it. School over blogging. But I do hope to see your posts even if they won't be so frequent. I'm so glad you had fun in Asia!
