Feature and Follow Friday #8

Feature & Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Basically, what you do is follow me, comment, and I'll follow back. Awesome, right?

This week's features are Fiction Predictions and Love, Literature, Art, and Reason.

Q: What is a deal breaker for you in a book? For example, do you abhor love triangles? Or can't deal with bad editing?

A: For me, the book must have an awesome character. Well, a believable one anyways. The character shouldn't be too one dimensional. Another thing is the pace of the story. If it's too slow, I'll get really annoyed and just not read it.

What is your answer? Follow and comment below and I'll follow back!

  1. Agreed. Boring characters and a slow plot really turn me off. :/

  2. Flat 2D characters will ruin a good story. Good answer:)

  4. The pace of the story is a good point.

  5. I definitely agree, there needs to be a believable character to really make reading worthwhile. And pace, definitely.

  6. I agree, I have to have a strong character. New follower via GFC and Linky.

  7. I can't stand it when the story is really slow! It will definitely make me stop reading or at least put it off for a long time.
