Q: What is a deal breaker for you in a book? For example, do you abhor love triangles? Or can't deal with bad editing?
A: For me, the book must have an awesome character. Well, a believable one anyways. The character shouldn't be too one dimensional. Another thing is the pace of the story. If it's too slow, I'll get really annoyed and just not read it.

Agreed. Boring characters and a slow plot really turn me off. :/

I definitely agree, there needs to be a believable character to really make reading worthwhile. And pace, definitely.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I have to have a strong character. New follower via GFC and Linky.

I can't stand it when the story is really slow! It will definitely make me stop reading or at least put it off for a long time.
