A Day in My Life #4 - Anime and Bloglovin'

A Day in My Life is a post where I tell you my life updates and anything you might need to know about the blog.

So exams are finally over and I'm so happy! I did pretty for all subjects thankfully. I still don't know my science exam score yet but I think it's good :D Last week, I also asked about whether or not I should post my Animal Farm story and a lot of you said yes! So I think I'll post two entries a week starting next Monday. I wrote a total of 12 short entries.

Regarding my blog name, I think I'll change it. I still haven't figured out what the new name will be since my brain is failing me and is all jumbled O___O Still thinking hard about a new title!

This week I want to talk about.. two things: anime/manga and bloglovin'!  I've always been a lover of anime and manga so I decided to post my review of them on here. Starting July, you'll probably see a few of those reviews on here. Any anime / manga fans out there? Make sure to say you do! And I'll tell you what animes I've been watching so you can keep an eye out for those reviews (I'll be reviewing them for the whole season). I'll be writing a post on the summer anime season and what I'll be watching from it soon. So from the spring season, I've been watching:

- Suisei no Gargantia

- Psycho Pass

- Arata Kangatari

- Hataraku Maou-sama!

- Kakumeiki Valvrave

- Tamako Market

- Karneval
(aren't those sheep and rabbit in the middle so adorable? :3)

- Sword Art Online
(this one is a favorite and I've been re-watching it!)

Those are all the animes I'm watching at the moment and I'll compile a summer list soon and post it :)

And the other thing I want to talk about is bloglovin'! GFC is soon going to be gone and I hope all you my dear followers will transfer to bloglovin'. It's really easy actually. They have a tutorial on how to transfer your google reader / GFC follows over. Hopefully I'll see you on bloglovin'! You can follow me here:

Thank you all for reading this post and comment down below to tell me what you think!

  1. AHHH I can't believe I'm so behind anime and manga !! I haven't been reading/watching much in the past 6 months thanks to national exams but I'm hoping I can catch up with them next month. And btw, the Tamako Market art reminds me of K-On :P I'd also love to read your Animal Farm stories :D

    1. I think Tamako Market is from the makers of K-On? And at least you're watching SAO! You must finish it and watch Hataraku Maou-sama!

  2. New Bloglovin follower here! Its been my preferred way to follow blogs for a few months now anyways. I love comic books and have read a few anime/manga books a good pal of mine had.
I had a question about them:
Are they both the same thing (anime & manga?) & what is a good beginner series for someone like me (or anyone really)?
I dont mind horror or anything like that. I am not sure if there are any scary scenes, but if there were I would be ok with that.
I have been wanting to familiarize myself with Anime/Manga and I think your site would be a good way to do it through your reviews and suggestions.
I'd love to read your Animal Farm stories too :)

    1. Anime and manga aren't the same thing. They're the same kind of drawings and stuff but manga is like a comic while anime is a tv show. I don't know what could be beginner series but I have some favorites. If you like scifi (more specifically video games), I would recommend Sword Art Online. If you like romantic comedy, I would recommend Hataraku Maou-sama. Tamako Market is a sweet story and I would recommend Karneval as well :) I'll definitely be posting a few manga and anime reviews starting July so make sure to check back on my blog!

  3. Congrats on passing your exams! I never really got into anime or manga, but my best friend is obsessed with them. Especially drawing them. I will have to ask here about those to see if she liked them. I'm looking forward to seeing your Animal Farm shorts. Good luck thinking up your new blog title! :)

  4. Aww, I'm going to miss your name! But it's definitely going to be a wonderful new name. And yay!--anime reviews! Finally someone who will be doing them! Aww the Karneval picture isn't showing up. DX But at least I recognize most of them. I see they are they ones you gave me to check out. ;D

I just read Suisei no Gargantia so I'm guessing they made the anime first. XD Anyways, going to watch it sometime...if my mom doesn't drag me out of my hidey hole everyday first. DX

    1. The Karneval picture is showing up for me :( Yep, I think it's the list I gave you. Hopefully you'll get time to watch some of them! And yeah, I think Suisei no Gargantia was an anime first. Good luck watching most of them, Delaney!
