What's Up? Anime, Video Games, and Now a Junior in High School

What's Up? is a feature where I talk about my personal life and any blog updates I have.

So, it has been a really long time since I've done one of these. So long (since Jul 11 of 2013 to be exact) that I've decided to change what it's called and start fresh. Now it'll be called What's Up? and I'll still be talking about whatever I want to and whenever I want to.

This time's topic will be on anime, video games, and the life of a junior in high school. I put it in the title; it's pretty self explanatory actually. So I think I'll talk about each of those things in that order.

Anime

I have many different things I would do in my free time. Anime is one of them. I don't really read when I'm at home. I like reading on transit or when I'm out of the house. When I'm at home, one of things I do is watch anime. I follow by season. Back when I used to have more free time, it would also be painful for me to wait for the next episode to come (and I usually follow 5 to 10 series at a time). Now I'm in grade 11, I have more things to do academically and now I don't have that much time to watch anime any more. I think I've gone off on a tangent but let me get back to my original topic.

What I'm trying to say is, along with reading, I also watch a lot of anime. With the speed of my reading now, I read one book a week (and two if I'm lucky). There's not exactly a lot of content on my blog and I was wondering if some of you would want to see stuff on anime. I can always post short reviews on them and put out a list of stuff I'm watching for each season when a new season starts.

Video Games

I also play lots of video games in my spare time. If I suddenly just stops posting for a month all together, this might be one of the things that has taken me away from reading my books. I don't think I'll do anything with video games on this blog but I can post a video of me playing for a try. Maybe.. but I don't think I'll do it. The latest games I've been enjoying are Assassin's Creed Unity, The Wolf Among Us, and others. I'm hoping to get more games to play for the holiday breaks so hopefully I'll catch some games on sale.

Grade 11 in High School!!!

So now I'm a junior in high school, I'm starting to spend more time on school work and extracurricular activities. I'm also starting to realize how fast I'm going to be graduating.. and suddenly I'm really scared of going to college. It seems like a huge hurdle I have to pass in my life and looking back on this in the future, I'll probably think it's a piece of cake. Now I'm spending more time studying since I'm took all academic courses for my load this year meaning that there are no easy courses like choir or art. Sad I know, but I wanted to take all three sciences so my schedule is full.

In conclusion...

I hope you'll bear with me in the future months. I do plan to read more during the holiday season so I'll be posting more reviews and fun posts then. I'll also do a haul post real soon.

Happy reading! :)

  1. I love the Assassin's creed games :) I haven't played them in a while, but perhaps I can pick it up again when I'm having Christmas vacation. I've never heard of The wolf among us, sounds.. mysterious. Happy December :D!
